North Uist Amateur Athletics Club is based at Paible School on the island of North Uist in the Western Isles of Highland Scotland.  It competes at Western Isles, North of Scotland district and Scottish National level in both track and field and cross country events.  There is a strong membership of over 100 youngsters.  The club has been subject to countless newspaper articles and has been featured on Scottish television as well.  It is a volunteer based club and runs on a shoe-string budget.  Despite the challenges that the club faces it has good representation and success at mainland events.  The club is an immense source of pride for the popualtion of North Uist.
