Since the formation of North Uist AAC Thursday night has been the traditional club training night at Paible School.  Everyone on North Uist recognises this to be 'Athletics night'.

The whole club meets up on this night.  The evening is split into clear sections.  6pm - 7pm is for the primary 1 to primary 4 children.  7pm - 8pm is primary 4 to primary 7.  7pm to 8.30 / 9pm is for secondary upwards.  This system has worked since the start of the club and it is a credit to the helpers that so many children can meet in one location on the one night with so little difficultly.

It has been a recent tradition that some of the responsible over 16's at the club help out with the coaching of the other younger members at the club.  The 6pm - 7pm session is almost entirely taken by older members at the club.
